What do you want to see in a theme?

We’re contemplating our next theme and we’d love to know what you would like to see…

  • Do you want a theme designed especially for a particular industry?
  • Are there particular layouts you would like to see or need?
  • What features do you wish you could have in a theme?

We can’t promise to accommodate everyones needs, but we promise to take everything into consideration. At the end of the day we want to create themes that lots of people use so your feedback is invaluable.

Another News theme would be amazing! Maybe one like CNN, and also maybe TheVerge.com. Thanks!

    hello there,

I would like to see a theme with these features :

    – a theme with 2 layout options (full width layout & 2 columns layout with right sidebar)
    – widget area above the footer, to accommodate widgets if full width is on
    – simple design that can be used in numerous niche, like Living Journal theme
    – lightning fast theme
    – no @import to enhance page speed a bit, I’m speed oriented πŸ™‚
    – responsive

thanks a lot guys, hope you can make that kind of theme πŸ™‚

one more thing Charles, I don’t mind to pay if you make that kind of theme available soon, especially if the theme alone can provide at least 93/93 score (pagespeed/yslow) and has a good architecture.

the majority of WP themes out there are terrible when it comes to speed. πŸ˜€

Hi Kang, thanks again. Speed is important, and it is true we could stand to focus on this more.
